The Getty Museum

My Los Angeles trip actually began super gloomy and gross.

Although it wasn't as bad as Boston, which was in the middle of its second Nor'easter (LOL), it was still wet and cold.

Thankfully, it got much much better by the second day, and was when my friends took me to the Getty Museum

Tip: Get there EARLY. We went at opening time (10am) and there was barely a line for the monorail up to the museum. The same line was lo0ooong when we were leaving though, so for your sake don't sleep in for this one.

Sadly since it had been raining that morning, we weren't able to visit the Gardens section of the museum. It's supposed to be calm mini-oasis that, according to Chloe, is an awesome place to picnic and read.

Would highly recommend anyone visiting LA to check this place out, even for an hour. It's calming, the definition of aesthetic af, and just a all-around beautiful place to see.
